FIELD DIRECTIONS

Cashell Elementary School (17101 Cashell Road, Rockville, MD 20853) - North Georgia Avvee.. towards Olney.  Left on Emory Lane.  Right on Cashell Rd. School is on Right.

 

Cloverly Elementary School (800 Briggs Chaney Road, Silver Spring MD 20905) – Georgia Ave., to east on MD-28, past Layhill Rd then turn right on Norwood Rd. Turn left onto New Hampshire Ave. go ¼-mile then turn right on Briggs Chaney Road & continue ¼-mile.

 

Darnestown Local Park (14211 Darnestown Rd., Darnestown, MD 20874) – I-270 to west on Rt. 28/Darnestown Rd., stay to the left on Darnestown Rd when it splits with MD-28.  Continue west past Muddy Branch Rd. and past Rt. 124/Quince Orchard Rd, then another 2.5 miles to ball field on the right.

 

Falls Road Local Park (12600 Falls Road, Potomac, MD 20854) – From 270 go South onto Falls Road.  Go past Wootton Pkwy.  Field is on Right.  Park in parking lot or make a right onto Falls Chapel Way and park on the street.

 

Farmland Elementary School (7000 Old Gate Road, Rockville MD 20852) – From 270 go east on Montrose Rd.  Make a right turn at light (Tildenwood Lane).  Tildenwood dead-ends at Old Stage.  Make a right onto Old stage.  Take second Left onto Farmland Drive. School is on Right.

 

Farquhar Middle School (16915 Batchellors Forest Road, Olney, MD 20832) – From Georgia Ave. go north past MD-28. Go about 1 mile and take the 2nd right onto Batchellors Forest Rd  Continue about a mile - the road twists and you will have to turn left to stay on Batchellors Forest Rd. The school is on the right.

 

Green Castle / Fairland Recreational Park (3928 Greencastle Road, Burtonsville, MD 20866) – Located on Greencastle Blvd., about 1 mile east of Route 29 and about 1 mile west of Old Gun Powder Rd. (North of Silver Spring near Burtonsville). From the Beltway, go north on Route 29 about 10 miles, turn right onto Greencastle Rd., field is on the left.

 

Glen Hills Local Park – Field #1 (12511 Circle Drive (near the intersection with Glen Mill Road), Potomac, MD 20854 [NOTE – Some mapping software indicate the city & zip code as Rockville 20850]) – I-270 to Darnestown Road exit (MD-28 West), stay to the left when Darnestown road splits from MD-28.  Turn left on Glen Mill Road, then immediately stay to the right as Wootton Parkway splits to the left. Continue about 1 mile. At the stop sign, turn left (road remains Glen Mill Rd). Continue about ¾-miles, then turn left onto Circle Drive and continue 200 feet to ball field on right.

 

Greenwood Elementary School (3336 Gold Mine Road, Brookeville, MD 20833) – Go north on Georgia Ave past MD-28 & MD-108.  Left on Heritage Hills Drive.  Left on Gold Mine Road.  Left into Greenwood Elementary School parking lot.  Field is over the hill behind the school.

 

Herbert Hoover Middle School (8810 Post Oak Road, Potomac, MD 20854) - School is located off of Tuckerman Blvd. between Seven Locks Road & Falls Road (MD 189). Take I-270 to Montrose Road West, turn left on Seven Locks Road then right on Tuckerman Lane.

 

Johnson Local Park  (Emory Grove) (18000 Washington Grove Lane, Gaithersburg, MD 20877) – From I-270, go east onto I-370.&nnbsp; Go East onto Shady Grove Rd.  Left onto Mid-County Highway.  Right at light, Washington Grove Lane.  Park is on left just past Upper County Pool.  From Olney, go west on 108, make a left at Bowie Mill Road, go Right at Muncaster Mill Road, left at Shady Grove Rd., and Right onto Mid-County Highway.  Right at light, Washington Grove Lane.  Park is on left just past Upper County Pool. 

 

Layhill Local Park (14901 Layhill Road, Wheaton MD 20906) – Georgia Ave. north of Wheaton, go just past Randolf Rd. then turn right onto Layhill Road.  Continue about one mile north of where Layhill crosses Bel Pre Road/Bonifant Road.  Turn right just past the public golf course.

 

Manor Oak Local Park (18820 Quarrymen Terrace, Brookeville, MD 20833 / sometimes listed as Olney, 20832) – MD-28 to north on Georgia Ave., continue past MD-108 to right on Owens Rd., ½-mile to left on Old Baltimore Rd., ½-mile to right on Quarrymen Terrace.

 

Mill Creek Towne Local Park (17401 Shady Grove Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20855) – Ball field is located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Shady Grove Road with Mid-County Highway – just east of I-270 and I-370).  NOTE – Google Maps (and other mapping services) have incorrectly listed this park as “Hill” Creek.

 

North Chevy Chase Local Park (4105 Jones Bridge Road, Chevy Chase, MD 20815) – From Beltway - Go South onto Connecticut Ave. Exit 33.  Make a right on Jones Bridge Rd.  Park is on Right.

 

Redland Middle School (6505 Muncaster Mill Road, Rockville, MD 20855) – From Shady Grove Road, go south about 1 mile on Muncaster Mill Road (school is on the left).  From Georgia Av., head west on Layhill Road (MD-28) then quickly turn right on Muncaster Mill Road.  School is on the right about ½-mile north of Bowie Mill Road.

 

Tilden Woods Local Park (6800 Tilden Lane, Potomac, MD 20852) – [NOTE – Some mapping software indicate the city as Potomac, North Bethesda, or Rockville] From Old Georgetown Road north of the Beltway, turn left on Tilden Lane and go about 3/4 mile. - Near the intersection of Tilden Lane with Old Stage Road. From I-270, take exit 4A for Montrose Rd east.  Turn right at Tildenwood Dr.  Turn left at Old Stage Rd. and continue through the traffic circle.  Turn right at Tilden Lane - destination will be on the left.

 

Wood Middle School (14615 Bauer Drive, Rockville, MD 20853) – Norbeck Road (MD-28) turn south on Bauer Drive ¼-mile.
